Sounds cool, I want to see some raw footage of it and how the picture quality is better than a GoPro3+. GoPro's 1080p60 mode has about 30 Mbit/s bitrate. So if the X-AVCS compression isn't total crap this should outperform the GoPro easily
BTW: Will the X-AVCS codec be supported by FCP or Premiere?

According to this article the czech federal aviation administration bans swooping completly in the Czech Republic because of the recent 4 fatalities in only 3 months. I can only find one in the Incidents forum, maybe someone who is familar with the situation can chime in here? I didn't know that the aviation administration rules over such things. Is there no skydiving association in the Czech Republic who deals with this?

I did it on a long skislope, which was in the end not steep enough to keep it flying for long.. Ran my ass off, hovered a bit and came down again.. Was a good workout, though!

Doesn't look like it has the same video quality like the GoPro 3. Video looks a little bit jittery (probably the digital stabilisation), the dynamic range is not as good as a GoPro. So I don't think this is a GoPro Killer, but maybe a nice alternative for some people who like the formfactor and the GPS feature.

Yes, Go Jump in Berlin offers the jump flatrate: 3999€ = jump your ass off the whole year. They have so much tandems there the whole week, I think you could do 1000 jumps there in 6 months, if you are fit enough

I would like to see some 14bit raw freefall footage and how the sensor handles it. Especially in low light or difficult light situations, like overcast, sunset, etc..

I have a Teardrop SF and need new risers, because the rig came with triple risers and now my new slider grommets are smaller, so that the old triple risers hardly fit through. I now have a Crossfire2 119 and a little swoop ambition here and there, but nothing serious.
Dive loops are a must.
Any recommendations which risers I should get? What is the right length? I just wanted to research a bit, before I consult my rigger..
