Hey everybody, feedback time! We are gonna have a St. Patricks Day Piss-Up in London on Thurday 17th March, Would you like to go to the usual 'Montague Pyke' where we can sit and talk in the normal fashion, or would you like to go to the 'O'Neills' Irish Bar and where it will no doubt be absolutely packed but there will be Irish music, decent Guinness and lots and lots of drinking and fooling around!? On Thursday 24th Feb from 6pm the 'London Skydivers Piss-Up' will be taking place at the Lloyds No.1 Bar 'Montague Pyke' on Charing Cross Road Bar details: http://www.lloydsno1.co.uk/locator/bardetails.php?PubNumber=188 Everyones welcome, even if you don't know anybody! Its the best way to meet people. We have an area reserved up the steps at the back on the left, just look out for the Skydiving T-shirts. Montague Pyke has got to be better, less tube stops from Victoria. I went to Camden once before and it scared me! This weekend see's the return of the infamous Scrambles at RAFSPA, Weston-on-the-Green, just off junction 9 on the M40 You enter into one of the 4 groups depending on Jump Numbers/Experience, either Baldrick, Experienced, Demi-God & Sky-God. Then teams are drawn at Random with one from each group, which will make up your team of 4, Then, You get your Dive pool, and away you go!!! Competition consists of 6 rounds. You don't even need FS1, just Cat.9 will do, you could even pick up your FS.1 during the competition! Get there Friday night by 7pm for Registration Party on the Saturday, Beer's only £1.50 £17 jumps for Civilians £12 for Military AAD's are NOT compulsory (except for A. Well i'll copy my last two posts into here and add a little bit more: ---------- 5th Sept '04 --------------- Hi all, just heard the news, and i'm very sad to hear of it, he was, as Chuck said, one of the 'funner' people to be around at the Dropzone. I arrived at Crosskeys on the 21st June to be greated by Kuske in with his hair in pigtails, later on that evening i watched a video of him have his shorts cut off him and have a dog lick peanut butter off him whilst he was asleep. He was great fun at the DZ and even let me and my mate Edd stay in their house along with Selwyn and Frick for the 2 and a half weeks we were there. Nigel Holland --------------------------- ------------ 7th Sept '04 -------------- I'm gonna skip over the last posts and go back to the memories, I forgot about " If your gonna be stupid, you better be strong" He said that alot, also 'Heeeeey yooooooou guuuuuysss" And his own version of 'White Stripes - Seven Nation army' ---------------------- All the memories above i know about or have heard the stories, That deck he built, i remember one night, really late just Kuske, Edd and one or two others were sitting outside and he threw a dumb-bell (used for packing) across the deck and it broke a panel, he made a hole in the floor, he said "Don't worry, i'll fix it tomorrow" the next day he did fix it.... eventually, but everytime he walked past it and i was there, he said "Would ya look at that, who did it?" and we'd both laugh. I also remember Wildwood, i went for a walk on the beach at silly AM and bumped into him still partying!
