  1. And i will tell more. It opens and then start to inflate. When i jumped for my first time the safire. I was surprise with the opening, because i never saw one opening like that. And i lend for a lot of friends who liked too. I was just making a demo with the safire, after landing i bought it in the same time. And i also preffer safire landings than stiletto. Apologies for the people who likes stiletto, but when i said before. I don´t like stiletto, vegeance, sabre. It´s my preference and i jumped with it all. I´m not against PD because i believe the Silhouette is a nice beginner canopie, and i use PD reserve. Piru
  2. I agree with the 1000ft to open. My safire takes it too. And allways on-heading. Sometimes it takes 700ft. Piru
  3. One other thing. The people of Precision saw the Nitro and put it in american market by the name of nitron, and is the same canopie. And also has one canopie in precisions web-site that will be released, the Fusion. It could be the Blade? Piru
  4. Nitro is one High Performance elliptical 9-cell canopie made by High Performance Research (HIPER) from Germany. And also has the Blade which is Extreme high performance elliptical 9-cell, but has sizes since 58ft/sq. From the web-site: The Nitro is a screen for experienced as also for inexperienced pilots. It is the perfect symbiosis between Aggresivitaet and security. Depending upon surface loading one flies very leisurely or extremely fast. Surface loads of over 2 Pound per Sqft. are possible, since the Nitro has a very high carrying capacity, which did not give it in such a way with 9-Zellern so far yet. Also from the web site: The Blade is a high speed cap for excluding very experienced pilots with at least 700 jumps on high speed parachutes. By the development of a completely new profile are possible and also recommendable with the Blade surface loads from 2 to 2.7 Pound per Sqft.. By decrease of the form drag, which has each flying object now once, the Blade cuts itself formally by air. By this effect the Blade with a substantially higher forward travel speed than comparable caps flies. Further we shifted the ventilation of the cells downward far so that it are almost impossible it completely to collapse. During full travel the Blade reacts to Toggle impulses extremely directly, which makes it extremely quirlig. Easily applied brakes gently sinking is drastically reduced, with still high forward travel speed. A large range, aggressive turns and a very long Swoops are the result. The Blade canopie seens pretty cool. The site is http://www.hipercanopies.de/ Look at the photo of a Blade 58. Piru
  5. I changed my stiletto 135 in one safire 129. The openings in the stiletto sucks. I prefer my safire much more tha one stiletto. Sorry, but it´s my preference Piru
  6. I Swooped a sabre 150 at 1:1 wing load and i consider tha satisfatory for me. I have video-taped it. I saw something about a Tri-cell Excaliur cross-braced i have one with me. I will jump with it again. Piru
  7. I did with Scott Mileer in 2001. I went to skydive deland from Brazil just to make this canopie school. I learned a lot with him, and still learning with his exercises. In my 100 jump i made my fisrt swoop in a pond swoop. I did 44ft. Piru
  8. Each canopy has a maximum speed. We can reach this speed doing a 90 degrees hook-turn? Or this maximum speed needs more than it? If doesn´t matter how degrees you do in your turn to get the maximum speed of the canopie. In a low 90 degrees front riser turn do i sink more than a quickly 90 degrees front riser turn keeping the same performance to land? Piru
