0 ROFLMAO. Let me get this straight. You picked a random website, which happens to be made up almost exclusively of skydivers, and you ask a question about DSL? Then you delete your post, get the thread flaming (with Kieth's) help, get a spanking by Skymama, while actually getting some good information thrown in the thread somewhere? Priceless. Ok, i want an apology - I think I was right in the beginning to flame after reading this!! Just kidding... I have no more penance in me...

Here's my penance: Steven, try: DSL Reports.com Forums 1. You may look under "USTelco" for your DSL provider here. 2. If your Internet Service Provider is not there, click here. 3. Then, if you cannot find your answer, post your question (and search) the General Forum here. But like it was stated... check and make sure all phones in the house have the filters on them and the jack the DSL modem is in does not. Good Luck.

I know I know I was a bad guy nailing him on the "wrong site" crack - not enough coffee. BUT sometimes a question tells you the answer will never be found here, if you know what I mean kids... Something like "my car doesn't work" is way too generic to ever be solved well on this site in an easy fashion. But yes, I was a jerk. Sorry.

You don't. It seems that a few people think this is my own map, but this is simply a public site (Frapper) that anyone can create a peg-board of sorts for their own use, in our case, Dropzone posters. The map and all though feed in from Google, so if they don't know where you live, then something is wrong. I can't imagine your zip code is unsupported - are you in fact using your zip code? Try it on the main google map page here. PM me you zip too and I will try. As far as page errors, there is a lot of hits on the site as Frapper is pretty new and gaining popularity with other forums out there, and "google maps" itself presents a computer with a ton of info. If you are on dial up, I would expect it to be pretty slow or error prone... Sorry

btw, for with the popularity of the iPod, tranfering music from friends is easy with something like CopyPod Software. Not that I use it for that purpose or anything...

yeah, there is a hell of a lot of data pushing trough on a google map, but the site is having difficulty with the thumbnails some of us have posted due to high loads on their machines. mostly its them, not your computer...but a seriously high speed connection helps during times like that... give it a few minutes/hours...

do they have WiFi there? bring a laptop in to surf with... (you didnt mention how laid up - thinking they are able to do something of the sort... )
