Hey Dumpster, She had no tunnel time, but did make two tandems in Hawaii. She bought this container, I put my second reserve in it, my wifes AAD and main. So she now has a rig to grow with. We had a great time!! I look forward to many more jumps with her, I was the videit on this one. Thank you all for your support, however; as stated above, it is scary to see a cute little blond at the DZ jumping, I always introduce her as my 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER!!! My daughter (Autumn) turned 16 today and made her 1st (dad owes beer) AFF jump!! I would like to thank everyone at Raeford Parachute Center for their support. Mostly Kate and Tony!!! Attached are some photos from the jump. She had a great time, and did pretty well on the dive. Hey Ron, I left Hawaii in December, I was there and jumped there for over 5 years. The two companies share runway and DZ. When I left each had a King Air, and a Cessna (SDH-182, and PISC-206). Each is a tandem factory, one stays open till dark the other till they run out of tandems, but both will treat you well. Just get comfortable with the landing area prior to jumping and ensure you understand the current winds and hazards for that day!! It is so beautiful, it is worth the effort to jump there!!! Thanks ITDiver and Gimpy!! I did go get the ScanDisk 8-in-1 reader, now I can use it with other memory sticks too, Sony, Kodak, etc. It works great too!! I know I read about some of you using AF (auto focus) for free fall, but I know over time this will ware down, is there an easy way to set to the Hyper focal point, and do I use the 18mm chart or the 28mm range (due to the 1.6 x 18)? The more we add to our gear, AAD, RSL, Sky-Hook, the more complicated the decision tree becomes for all types of emergncies. You must master this tree or you will fall from it and hit the ground.
