  1. Here is another drawing for you with specific measurements to help you set up the course.
  2. Hey Denise. I do not have the deposit thing set up yet so as of now we will just take names. Will you be there for all three days?
  3. April 6-8. Back to back cessna loads from the pond. Fri, Sat and Sun. See ya there.
  4. yes we used the handicapp system for this meet for all three events. Speed, distance and zone. There were 6 pros competing here. You can see that the handicapp really works well. It evens out the field and allows Pros and amateurs to compete against each other and the best performance will win.
  5. geeze..........sorry bout that. I'll get it one of these days..... What's up Stu. I have also posted the overall standings for the season after round 1. Who is going to win the coveted Southeast Championship for 2007? It will be a very interesting year. These guys are all going hard down here. The Gold Coast Flyers are good. www.cpafl.org
  6. Sorry Check out www.cpafl.org and look under the link for the scores for the meet.
  7. Hello to everyone. I can't say thanks enough for everyone's support. It is very very exciting to see so many people so excited about flying their parachutes. It is something very special to share with our friends. So here are the scores from the first meet. Alot of people here in their first swoop meet. Appologies for not having them up sooner. We are very busy right now, but look for pictures and overall Southeast standings soon and hope to see you all next month in Sebastian for Round 2 http://www.cpafl.org/07round1scores.htm
  8. Hey Mike Hope to see you out this year if you can make any comps. www.cpafl.org
  9. Hey Jeff Good to hear you are interested in competing this year. Sorry for the info email link on the website. It should work now. Amateur competition gates are 10' high and 24' wide. So if you are thinking of competing you will need to be there by 8 am. We always do one manditory practice load in the morning for people who are just arriving the day of the comp. When and if you move up to National or Pro comps, people usually arrive the day before to do some practice jumps, but in the amateur league, people do not usually arrive until the day of the comp. So we let everyone get at least one jump to look at the course from the air and get a practice jump in before competition round 1. The courses will be set up on Friday if you are thinking of coming in on Friday though. So then we usually do the briefing around 9:15am and then try to start the comp by 9:30am. If everything goes well and we do not get any weather holds or other delays we are usually done by 4, do the awards and drink a beer. So the $65 will go towards Southeast league expenses and we always get a trophy at the end of the year for the overall winner. The first year Ian Bobo won it and received a nice trophy, then in 05 Tyler Lawson took home the belt and in 06 Tom Delibac got his Championship trophy. If you have any other questions you can email me directly at [email protected] or you can call my cell at 386-527-9907 Well hope this helps and hope to see you out at the pond. By the way, Tom Delibac has the Lake Wales pond looking like it did for the 2003 World Championships held in Lake Wales. Manicured and full with no lip and groomed sand landing areas. It looks very nice. Thanks and see you soon Chris Hayes

  22. Ahhh Luc, my friend. How are you. Good to hear from you. I don't think there is any beer line like a "duvel" beer line. I hope to come and visit the Swoop Duvels and the rest of the Belgian and Dutch swoopers again next year too! Chris
  23. Unfortunately not. We are going to set up a nice looking course right down the beer line.
