I suck at Haiku. I'm happy it is Friday Life is pretty good. I bought my tent at Costco for an unbelievably inexpensive price and it is an excellent quality tent. I think it sleeps 4 or 5 and is very nice and I only paid like $50 bucks for it. Other camping gear??? Hmmm. I like to bring travel candles, a flashlight, lounge chair, tunes and cards or other games to play with friends. Depending on how long I am staying at a campground I may be so inclined to bring my inflatable air matress, blankets and pillows for more comfort. I hear ya about Hawaii though, I used to crash out on the beach in Mokuleia and Haleiwa just in my sleeping bag to camp. Aaaaah, I miss those days Roy Bacon: "Elvises, light your fires." Hmmmmm, sounds like a heck of a lot of fun to me and a great invitation. Let me check the schedule at SMB for that weekend to make sure Jess is covered with enough instructors. Hell I think the best thing is if we could get the DZs together to cooperate with each other and do a 2 plane shot. 14 in the King Air and however many left in the otter. Since the otter holds 24 if we had enough DZ.commers we could do a record of 38. It is a possibility and we do have the technology, think the DZOs would go for it? Hi All, I am doing a research paper/presentation for my Physics 2B class and was wondering if anyone has any ideas of good sources of information. I have already checked out John Kallend's website and am using some of his good stuff but I am thinking about doing the paper on gravity vs. air resistance and the effect of the surface area of a skydiver's body on his/her directional control. Also how the same principles apply to deployment and inflation of the canopy and a bit of Bernoulli's principles regarding flying the RAM Air canopy. Come to Skydive Monterey Bay to break it. We have a very nice super otter that plays tunes, does a beach tour at sunset and goes all the way to 18K. Our plane seats 24 so that could break it for sure!!!
