Harvest Moon Boogie 2004.

There was a whale involved... the whale made it!
I had probably just over 200 jumps and Johnny and the gang made it feel like it was my Birthday riding the whale! I can't remember everyone on the jump but I know Deb, Dewey, Rick and Rabbit were all there!

I never did get the pics or video from that jump.

I walk a 4-mile path here behind the airport and there are dogs all along the route. Today, one of the pit bulls got out of the fence and barked at me for about 20 feet. He didn't seem angry but it scared the shit out of me. The guys lives on a corner and looks like he breeds them. He has at least 8.

There used to be a guy in our neighborhood that walked like 6 pomeranians and carried a putter. I might have to steal his idea from him. That, and I'm going to start carrying a cell phone in case I get stuck on the other side of the road and need to call for a ride home!

Skydivers tend to create their own families with each other so it was great seeing his blood relatives. You guys being there to watch the 3 memorial dives and get to know all of his friends was just as special for us.

Actually, the Today show this morning reported that they had pressed charges and wouldn't release any more information until after the trial.

At first it was speculation, then they found a motive.

I just lifted Chuck off his Crown Royal ban - bought him a bottle last week. He and his Daddy are both HUGE crown fans!!!

I did a DITY. Got paid but the biggest break is the tax writeoff I think.

We moved over 6000 lbs and got paid about $2800 after taxes. They pay 95% of what it would cost them to pay a mover and then tax you 30%.

For us, the cash was worth it. If you have your own trailer under a certain dimension, you can get reimbured for it's weight and anything inside (minus a car). IF you're single, you'll only get paid for one vehicle that you drive (gas and expenses are a tax writeoff). If you have big stuff like a motorcycle, golf cart or rec veh it's worth it. If it's just your personal shit - it probably won't be worth the hassle. We got our weight up with two motorcycles and a souped up golf cart - otherwise, it wouldn't have been worth it for us either.
