  1. For some odd reason a question about two containers started an argument. About racers. Racers are not in the question! Haha Carpe Diem, even if it kills me
  2. A lot of times I will spend the weekend nights on the pack hanger floor depending on which dz. or if they have a bunk house crash there. But yeah man I just sleep on the floor of the packing area. Carpe Diem, even if it kills me
  3. So I guess it comes down to preference and comfort ability. Carpe Diem, even if it kills me
  4. A mixture of luck and growing up on dz's. the owners of the dz's I jumped at saw I was mature enough and said cool. I have been packing since I was 10. So all but one I actually worked there which made it easier to get to jump. Carpe Diem, even if it kills me
  5. No haha. Right here in USA. My first tandem was at skydive city in z-hills florida. xD Carpe Diem, even if it kills me
  6. I don't think I will be going with a racer guys. From what I hear and see here vector is pulling ahead in everything but comfort? Carpe Diem, even if it kills me
  7. Explain why it is safer? Carpe Diem, even if it kills me
  8. Ok got it to attach Carpe Diem, even if it kills me

  13. Which I have seen dads do that in free fall a lot. Carpe Diem, even if it kills me
  14. At risk of the inevitable responses, what is 'half mooning'? I believe he is talking about your rig folding on your back into a "half moon shape" Carpe Diem, even if it kills me
  15. Yes I understand looks do not really matter haha :) Carpe Diem, even if it kills me
  16. Yeah definitely. I will definitely try them before I buy. Carpe Diem, even if it kills me
  17. Ok haha. I personally think they are ugly. Carpe Diem, even if it kills me
  18. Seeing as you are the second to recommend a racer, I must ask, why the racer? Carpe Diem, even if it kills me
  19. Haha yes he definitely knows a lot about the sport to say the least. He'll he took his 6 year old kid on a tandem (meeee) haha. Thanks for this. As I stated earlier the vector he has seems really uncomfortable. Carpe Diem, even if it kills me
  20. See I like the microns. Just don't know how comfortable they are seeing as I have never jumped one and I explained the problem with my dads vector. The only rig I have accually jumped is the wings (I am just getting back into jumping. I only have 7 jumps) i have packed for alot of jumpers for a long time and both are very wasy to close whichbi like. I was just kind of looking at the different containers and harness systems and vector and wings were my favorite. Will be a while before I buy. Carpe Diem, even if it kills me
  21. Hey! So yeah... I have jumped and packed wings and it was a really comfortable harness and really easy to close when packing. Dads vector was also an easy pack but seemed like the harness was thinner and would be less comfortable (never jumped it because he had a velocity 96 in it) which is more reliable? Which is better? 22. Hey guys! My name is Joey. I made my first jump at age 6. I started packing around age 10 and I have been away from dz's for a while. Now that I am of age for USPA purposes I am planning on finishing aff here real soon! I have 7 jumps and about 700 pack jobs under my belt. 3 tandem and 4 Mock aff jumps.
