  3. Yea man , I ordered one, got it 2 days later just like he said, it was alittle short in the torso and arms as it was not custom, it was a stock one. I called him, sent it back, he adjusted and I had it back with in the same week. My brother custom ordered one 2,. so far so good! call him or email him. Later
  4. Thanks for the insight, How can I check that my deployment brakes or deep or not deep? Also for more info on this, I took a canopy course last week, the dz packers packed it for that day and I didn't have the surge. During the course, to stall my canopy on the toggles, I had to single wrap my brakelines while flaring.
  5. Just got my A-lic and fiance and my brother, I has NONE, my fiance had 1, and my brother had 1 that was almost (180), a half twist,.
  6. Just started packing my own main canopy, it is a silhouette 230, I PRO pack it as taught, very simular to the PD Nick Grillet's pro pack a large canopy video. but on opening it tends to surge forward, or dive on opening, afer it gets completely open, and only dives for about 3 seconds then levels out. Is this something I am doing wrong in the pack job, I do set the brakes, any help would be appreciated, thanks
  7. Chuck, this is Chad, I have your back here, I just went through this course with my fiance, here are the folks you need to get in touch with http://www.theratingscenter.com/

  9. I do not know about this person or the software, I did do a quick search and looks like this person is out of business. I am a software developer that would be interested in assisting you with what you have or maybe helping to create a new manifest package it that is an option. let me know. Thanks
  10. Wise Choice for now , but keep plugin away, only one way to learn! you doing it! Blue Skies!
  11. FYI, I just got my A-lic 4 weeks ago and just bought my gear, Use the DZ's gear while taking the class, I believe it is included in the cost,. once you have to start renting gear, (after your Class, and A-lic) then start looking for a good deal.
  12. Hey , I just finished my course , have my A-Lic now, and I started with a 300, after 10-12 jumps moved to a 280, then finished my course with a 260, Just bought my gear and I bought a 230 main, take a look at Brian Germains downsing chart at www.bigairsportz.com/pdf/bas-sizingchart.pdf my dz says it is pretty much the law with them. by the way this chart is on Exit weight (you and your gear) good luck.
