skydiver on wingsuiter in rodeo style - how do they get into this position?

Recommended Posts

just curious - you see the skydiver on wingsuiter in rodeo style videos - how do they get into this position?

Like do they jump out with the skydiving holding the wingsuiter? If not is a wingsuiter able to hold their arms/legs in and match a normal skydive fall rate until the skydiver docks?

cheers

Usually it's this way.

This is also possible.

thanks guys

oh re the video I get "This video has either been removed from Facebook or is not visible due to privacy settings"

a video of a skydiver docking on a wingsuiter would also be very cool to see...I'll google around...but if you have a link to one of these I'd be interested

Video grabs from the footage of me and a skydiver shot by Greg Gasson back in 2004. This started off as a rodeo from the aircraft with the skydiver intentionally getting off and then getting back on while in freefall.
