LukeH 0 #1 May 25, 2011 Was there a WS competition in Italy in the last few weeks? I remember hearing about the event but don't see any threads about it? Was it held? If yes are the results available anywhere?

LukeH 0 #6 May 25, 2011 The graphs for the comp make interesting viewing. It looks like there wasn't an opportunity to build up speed in a long dive before the competition window like in some of the other comps. Was this intentional? Tail winds aside, some of the other tracks on the website are ridiculous. The top 4 results in the distance challenge have 1,800ft + of diving just to get a huge G\R spike (> 4:1) in the competition window. I assume this is not against the rules, but as some people entering don't have the extra altitude to burn it makes the comparisons unfair.
lurch 0 #7 May 26, 2011 Interesting. I hadn't heard about this one at all. Question: Anybody know if they're still planning to hold Wings over Gransee? I had been considering competing. -BLive and learn... or die, and teach by example.

mccordia 73 #9 May 26, 2011 I heard Giovanni got some really nice results in the trackinground as well (3.5 glide in his brand new V4). But he was trying to get ahold of the file to upload it to the paralog website...JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
