First Time Cutting Away Wings

Then why is it marketed as their "training" suit?

No idea. I think it's kind of silly, but I'm not part of PF.

Likewise, if you are intoning that it's actually a BASE-specific suit, who in their right mind would want to jump a suit in that environment which has several, for whatever reason, documented cases where at least one wing has released in freefall?

I've lost a wing on a Skyflyer 1 in freefall (on a BASE jump). It's definitely a situation I'd prefer to avoid, but it's not an automatic death sentence, and it's not something I'd say is only possible with suit X, Y or Z.

...there is a very tight nylon web loop/slot that the snap strip must slip through...

Thanks, that makes more sense.

It does, but a lot of people forget to pass through the loop, which account for many lost wings in freefall, even during normal belly flight. I've caught more than one new Prodigy owner on the plane with their stuff hooked up wrong.
