bigG 0 #1 February 24, 2004 I have just received my new GTI this week and would be jumping it this weekend. So for the first few jumps what all maneuvers / drills should i practice? For example practice pulls, turns, pulling at 5K..what else? What dive plan did you have on your earlier jumps? Also what do I need to brief the pilot about? Which pattern I am going to fly? LouDiamond 1 #2 February 24, 2004 Check out this months Skydiving on page 30. I wrote the article Ünderstanding the Birdman flight plan" that is currently lost on the new Birdman web site some where. If you are unable to find a copy of skydiving let me know and I will e-mail the article to you when I get home."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING
notsane 0 #3 February 25, 2004 If there's a BMI (BirdMan Instructor) nearby it would be a great idea to let them coach you.

bigG 0 #5 February 25, 2004 QuoteIf there's a BMI (BirdMan Instructor) nearby it would be a great idea to let them coach you. I have done my First Flight BM course with Asaf, red the BM manual (a few times), the S-Fly manual (its got good discription of the body position, etc.). Just looking for some ideas here... I will most certainly talk to experienced Birdies or BMIs I can find at my dropzone.
JayFitz164 0 #6 February 25, 2004 If it is not to much trouble could you email me a copy as well. I have just begun to fly wingsuits and am very interested.
NSEMN8R 0 #7 February 25, 2004 Could you please send it to me too? I just bought a wingsuit and I've never jumped one before. This is the first one at our DZ and there are no BMIs nearby so I'm trying to find as much stuff to read as I can. Any other suggestions would be appreciated too. Thanks [email protected]

Thanks for the article. Its was very helpful. Did a super 2 way Birdy jump with Jhuao(spelling?) today at Space Center, Titusville. Flew right next to him and docked a few times....it was cool jump. Some other Birdy men did some lets say innovative birdman jumps..I am sure you will hear about it soon.
