bodypilot90 0 #1 February 7, 2003 would there be much/any benefit to having a line set made for my spectre. Just thinking since I got to replace them, would this be a good idea. How would it change the way the canopy flys or would it?
Shark 0 #2 February 7, 2003 I have straight center lines (non-cascading) on mine. Mainly for crew, but I haven't flown much crew with it since I have a Lightning. It was an option when I had ordered mine. You never know when you might need it....
AggieDave 6 #3 February 7, 2003 Having a CReW friendly sport canopy is fun, you and your buddies can toss up a 2-stack or something at the end of a "normal" skydive.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

KydMicha 0 #8 March 13, 2003 Bill..... You ever jump Tampa Bay? I've ben good frfiend of crwMike for over 20 yr;s... excellent diver and an instructor delux... unfortunately my finances as a firefighter in Fla. didn't allow even half the knowledge/learning at my door ....your profile name just sounds familiar... also cool to hear some gear I recognize.... have physically had to "retire " for a while....will be back tho, rest assured as any sky addict will understand. Just wanted 2 thank u for any response...... been wondering if the original auathor, or ANY one understood my comments..... surely you remember those days..? Cut my teeth on getting past the cascades and later haveing luxury of some temp. traing w/ AB Flying Eagles juniors, got spoiled getting just to slide on down..... but, as I said, we use to pay for the adjustment. Having a Maverick at the time, I was Blessed that Mr. Fury was residing in ZHills at the time so I got the modification by the man that built the thing. well, just up late in pain and bored and tired of being ground bound.... just wanted to say thanx for the support and still wondering if any one ever got anything out of what I said.... ya'll new folks: be grateful and investigate why these free "options" exist.....eh? ya'll stay safe Blue Sky s 4 ever KydMicha
KydMicha 0 #9 March 13, 2003 been ground bound 4 quite a while and obviously not up on the latest stuff.... so wish some one would let me know if my comments on UNcascading A lines makes sense or sounds like total cr#p.!? briefly on the side, (yeah, I know, I'll use the proper forums and try to learn to stay a lot more stricly on the subject) ...... there is another Mike Lewis living close to ZHills.... has a mega collection of national and international medals in CReW, sorry, CRW and that's who I thot I was addressing here and there in these posts....jeez I felt like a geek finding out this ain't the same guy one day when my shouder will allow, I'll spend the energy on properly introducing myself. a long weird diving history I also look 4ward to even getting to read more than 1-2 posts here and there... thanx for at least putting up w/ me stay safe (he who hesitates shall inherit the earth) (this of course does not exclude taking time for the number one ,or in the top three, thing in a wrap: COMMunicate as much as poss. before acting) thanx for helping me get back to learning even if I have to do it all from the ground for a while longer ('if God meant for us NOT to fly, He'd have given us roots') long winded Micha
