Stills Camera Lenses

Recommended Posts

The Sigma 15mm is always a good buy for skydiving. With the crop factor it's the equivalent of a standard 24mm lens and it's very crisp and clear.

It runs around 5 bills and it's worth every penny.

Tandems? Wide is better. 15mm is a pretty good spot to be at if you are flying from grip range to 6 feet back. Any further and you are wanting closer to a 20 mm lens on the digital bodies.

CRW? You could be a ways back so a 15 mm will have them being specks unless you crop the heck out of the photos. Issue is if you get a longer focal length lens you have to be sighted in much better or else the people will be off center all the time. Start with a 15 MM and either fly close or get a longer lens and fly further away, thats going to epend on what you are used to flying.
