That's what I'm planning on! I can't wait to try it out at the track this weekend. It's going to be fun to see how the focus lock on and tracking performs while shooting motorcycles flying by at over 100 mph.

I used the non-IS 300mm to take this shot a while ago. Great stuff. :)
I really don't know what I'm talking about.

The iris construction is incredible for a zoom lens (not that a qualification is really necessary.)

Side-story: It's funny to think about people that do their first jump during a boogie (in this case Chicks Rock) and how that affects their perception of the sport. On her first jump she landed in front of a huge cheering crowd and chugged a beer with her tandem instructor. :P
