AirCanada 0 #1 December 13, 2005 Ok, so I just got my new digital rebel, and the goldmember and conceptus bite swich are on their way... The port for the remote switch is behind a rubber flap also covering the USB and Vid Out ports... What to people do to keep everything sealed up as best as possible and keep dirt an moisture from getting in the other ports? Gaffers tape; put hole into rubber flap so switch can be plugged in through it...?
piisfish 135 #2 December 13, 2005 Duct tape or some other tape like isolating tape (for electricians) Just a quick question, is your profile accurate ?? Will you jump the camera with 45 jumps ?? AndyMan 7 #4 December 13, 2005 I left the flap in place so I can reinsert it when my still isn't on my helmet. I just pull the flap aside when I plug in my switch. I've never had any moisture problems with my still... even when things get "wet" from "haze". _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
AirCanada 0 #5 December 14, 2005 thanks for the info. yes, the profile is more or less current. It being very cold here now, i'll be using the set-up to shoot skiing, kiting, and paragliding... not freefall.
pcalandra 0 #6 December 14, 2005 I cut off a small piece of the flap to accomodate the switch, it worked well for me and I could out the piece back if I needed to and it would stay put.
