The111 1 #1 November 18, 2005 I realize it's pointless to clean the LCD on a camcorder since you're just going to have to touch it again and it will get covered in fingerprints again. But hypothetically, if you wanted to wipe all the fingerprints off, what would you use? I tried a cotton cloth and it just smeared them around. Was thinking of using one of the "wet-naps" I use on my lens but didn't know if it would be bad for the LCD.www.WingsuitPhotos.com

mr2mk1g 10 #4 November 18, 2005 Screen wipes stolen from my office. It's a screen... I wanted to wipe it... seemed logical.
sdsouthsask 0 #5 November 18, 2005 I find that those micro fibre cleaning cloths that they sell for lenses and glasses work really well for this. They are available in any store that sells glasses and are only a few bucks. Works good on the outside of your wide angle lens between jumps as well. dsbbreck 0 #6 November 19, 2005 It sounds silly but the best way to clean your screen is to put scotch tape over it and then take it off. It pulls off all the dirt and finger prints and doesn't leave a residue. Try it, you'll be surprised how well it works.David "Socrates wasn't killed because he had the answer.......he was killed because he asked the question."
