Zoter 0 #1 August 11, 2005 Ok guys....Premier Pro I want to gradually(decelerate) some footage in Pro.....but am struggling... For sure its easy to change the clip speed....no problem....but has anybody got any faster techniques than what I am already using to slow down the clip from 100 to say 50.......gradually. Currently: I take my clip.....count a set number of frames...eg 10....and apply the same speed over these frames and the for the next set graduate the speed down (ie first set of frames @100...next set 90...next set 80...etc etc) Its a little time consuming........anybody have any hints on a 'quicker' way to decelerate the footage?? Anybody point me towards a plug in that achieves this? Is there a key frame function that achieves this...? To me its a pretty big oversight by Adobe...... psw097 0 #2 August 11, 2005 Ha, yeah, I've done the same thing. I never did find a speed ramp. Well, that was free or at least affordable.
mccordia 73 #3 August 12, 2005 Adobe Premiere is an editing program and doesnt have all the fancy features you find in specific image/video manipulation packages. If you want to manipulate footage, use After Effects (which has time-ramping in every which way imaginable...with numbers..curves...everything!!) If you're using slowmo's in a normal video, for 99% of the time a normal hard cut to a slowmo works perfect...unless its some matrix-y timeramp effect you're after ofcource...then After Effects/Combustion etc. is your program of choice..JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
