lummy 4 #1 February 16, 2005 I've been lurking the various sites for a decent camcorder for a few weeks and found a PC101 with battery,charger and case (yeah, like I'll use the case ;) for $300 tonite which I'm going to look at tomorrow. I realize that this is 2 generations old now and soon to be 3. I kinda figured that if I could find a PC105 for < $450 I'd be happy otherwise I'd go with a 109 which is retailing for about $600 now. I guess I'm wondering if saving a bunch of money is really worth it in this case. Posts here for the 101 seemed like everyone was happy with it at the time it was new or second generation. Is that still the case? Along those lines, is there anything I should look out for? TIAI promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. ShaggyFord 0 #2 February 16, 2005 Sounds like a deal to me. I paid $1200 for my PC101 when it first came out. Been real happy with it all except for a cracked board for my lanc port. mr2mk1g 10 #3 February 16, 2005 There's nothing wrong with the 101. All the 105 added was a flash which you're probably never going to use skydiving.... that and a plastic body.
