alain 0 #2 February 19, 2003 sorry, I wont actually answer your question, but did you consider the Sigma 24mm 1:2.8 ? I own one for years and I'm really happy with it (the price is good too). I'm not sure one needs 1:1.8 for skydiving : we usually have enough light up there to use 4 to 8 setting , so... Plus, hi aperture wide angle lenses are usually pretty heavy and more prone to distortion than the 2.8. Alain ps: I'm not a freefall photographer just photographer for over a decade.
