camera attachment options

I am currently using a Velbon mounting plate (quick release) for my video camera and have heard others mention other brands (Stroboframe???...)

Just wondered what others recommend. I am looking for the lowest profile quick release.

I very much enjoy the STROBOFRAME attachment for my still camera. It's quick, releases easily (when I want it to) and doesn't move around on the plate.

So far, out of the rigs I have seen with quick release plates the Velbon is the best. I had one on mine. Personally I prefer the way they close to the stroboframe plus the one I saw was kind of a honker, size wise.

I use the Velbon for a year now an is the best I seen already ....my sugestion is get one it simplify the job of putting on and out
