harro 0 #1 August 10, 2002 Hey there all just after some help with viewing Avi's in windows XP. I finished downloading a AVI from skydiving movies to watch and the player is asking to download a codec. It failed and then the soundtrack plays with the normal windows visualisation. Not a fan of visualisations, so I was wondering if there is any other players that will play AVI's ?????Jumpy Jumpy??
Qweaver 0 #2 August 11, 2002 Not all AVIs are the same and you may very well have to download a Codec. My Win. Media player plays most tpyes of AVIs but then, I have many codecs enabled.

Spy38W 0 #4 August 11, 2002 Try going back to ftp://ftp.skydivingmovies.com/public/CODECS/ and grab the ACE codec pack, that should work for most of the videos -- Hook high, flare on time
