arlo 0 #1 November 3, 2006 hey, it's that simple. if you're consistently seeing the same members of the competition committees making decisions that seem counterproductive to the general good of the competitors, vote 'em out. it seems there have been issues with sponsors, uniforms, nationals award scheduling, whatever. vote. the reason this is in the relative work forum is because alot of 4-way competitors have been directly affected by decisions that made no sense to anyone else. back to your regularly scheduled programming. flyangel2 2 #2 November 3, 2006 But what if the one person in my Region is the only one running Hell, we don't even have anyone that wants to be a write in BTW, I vote every yearMay your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. bbarnhouse 0 #3 November 4, 2006 Oh good! Does this mean you will a write in candidate?I agree that everyone should vote. As to the competitors, I agree if they don't like something they need to make themselves heard. Problem is they seldom do. This goes for the general membership as well. I have been at the last 3 BOD meetings. There isn't even enough folks there for a quorum. I do realize that is a lot of people. Seems people would rather be reactive than pro-active. Folks do have means by which they can be heard. Use it.

airgord 1 #5 November 11, 2006 There used to be a time when there were more than one candidates per region, now it is the same candidate (incumbent) for the last few years. Apathy, plain and simple, if nobody gives a fuck, why should I. (here it comes)
