NorCal - Getting a JVX Demo

Getting a Velocity to demo is easy at my DZ. I wanted to try the JVX as well before making a decision and I'm wondering if anyone knows who to contact about getting one here in NorCal.

Looking at a 109-ish size.

There is no demo program. You'll need to find someone who has a similarly sized JVX and see if he/she will let you jump it!

Yeah, i read there was no official program, probably on here somewhere, but thought I would ask.

if you found a 109 and it has any sail in it you would need like a J3 to pack it in to

but wouldnt that put your loading at like 1.9 2.0 a bit light for that canopy dont you think?

Right about 2.0. Light for a Xbrace...maybe. But too heavy for the XF in my opinion. I think flying a 2.0 on Xbrace is no worse than flying a 2.0 on a XF. I have a few jumps on a XF2 109 but no way to compare it to the next level (with a JVX anyway).

I'm open to changing my mind on that if I'm wrong.

well you might find that loading the 27 cell up light will make it a bit of a struggle for ya, but you will get big forearms and biceps out of it

have you contemplated a Xaos 21 demo it might be a good transition canopy.

I would call the company directly about the demo since emailing them about demos gets zero response.

She loves the idea of me trying canopy piloting at nationals this year too.
