Weekend Swoop stories

Recommended Posts

Skydive Iowa had an Otter for the weekend which allowed me to crank out 19 jumps. Had good swoops all weekend.

Next to last jump I set up to swoop thru the pea gravel. The surf went from 10 yards in front of the pea gravel; thru the center where I kicked the cone and surfed another 15 yards. :)B|

I was so pleased I held that cone over my head like it was the Stanley Cup!

When I say good swoop, its all relative to me being on a safire2 169 loaded just under 1.4. The other guy is grouper(rtroup) under his sabre2 170.
Lets see if this works

nope, didnt work

I had a couple kick ass swoops this weekend, but no video, fuck, there isn't even stills, so I guess it didn't really happen...:S I wish there was proof, it was the first time I swooped the length of the hangers, standing it up even. B|

I gotta goovy little 270 hanger swoop after I shot your 4-way. It was kinda cool for my first weekend back with the knee thing resolved... I think it scared some of the tandem spectator types. Nothin' like the whistle of a cross-braced canopy goin' by...
