Merrick 0 #1 May 9, 2002 OK, this may sound kinda stupid to some of you, but how in the hell do you get the face shield off of the newer Z1's (the ones with the plastic hardware)? Dumpster 0 #4 May 9, 2002 You need to peel the lining back inside the helmet - you'll find a small nut- Put a wrench on it - (I forget what size - but it's metric) Now give the screw out side a quarter turn - With a little gentle persuasion you should be able to pop it the rest of way out- Once you get both of the pivots out and take a look at the components you'll see how it works- It's really not so bad after the first time- Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
