GreenLight 5 #1 September 2, 2007 A tornado or microburst hit Perris Airport today near the end of the Ultralight Runway and took out 5 or 6 hangars. Some ultralights were destroyed while others were untouched. People were inside the hangars when they went over... Here is a movie clip of the damgage. Skydiving operations were unaffected. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTd-Tnn2rMoGreen Light "Harry, why did you land all the way out there? Nobody else landed out there." ltdiver 3 #5 September 3, 2007 We had another torrential downpour this afternoon at Perris. Rain sideways, from the south. I took a tour of the ultralight park afterwards and was told that Scott Christiansen's hanger was blown up this time, along with another 3 ultralights.
