Skydive Delmarva/Skydive The Point Halloween Boogie October 28-30, 2011

Two dropzones are teaming up to put together an incredible Halloween Boogie this year!

The 40+ jumper Caribou will be here along with Skydive Delmarva's Twin Otter.

The Skydive Store will be here with demo rigs and canopies. If you want to try something in particular contact them at 866-Y-SKYDIVE (866-975-9348).

Early registration is $30 and includes:

- RW and Freefly organizers.
- Beer Friday night and Saturday night
- Ice luge Saturday night
- Dinner Saturday night
- Band on Saturday night.
- Hooping performance on Saturday night by Kelly Jo of http://www.radianthoops.com
- Boogie T-shirt.

The deadline for early registration is October 14th. Starting October 15th registration will be $35 for Jumpers. Nonjumpers can register at any time for $15. Please register early to help us get a headcount.

Weather/Refund Policy: If the weather is so bad that it is obvious no jumps will be made over the weekend or if the boogie is cancelled for any other reason, we will not bring the Caribou in and all registration fees will be refunded. If the weather is good enough to bring the Caribou in there will be no refunds of registration fees.

Whether you are a beginner free flier who has just gotten stable sit flying, or you are looking to turn multiple points on a head down jump, Kate or Laura can organize a jump for you. Kate Armstrong:
-Current member of first ever all women's VFS Team training & competing in 2012.
-Summer 2011: Local freefly organizer at Jumptown in Orange, MA
-7/ 2011: Participated in the initial Vertical World Record "scope out" jumps at Skydive Chicago Summerfest 2011 with 40-60 ways.
-12/ 2010: 2nd place - Advanced 2-way Freefly event at the Skyventure New Hampshire Tunnel Competition, 2010
-11/ 2010: Participated in the Women's Vertical World Record event at Eloy, AZ
-11/ 2009: 2nd place - Skydive City's annual Thanksgiving Day 10-way speed event competing as the only vertical team
-2008: 1st Place - Freefly Scrambles at Skydive New England
-2007: 4th place - 2-way Freefly, Collegiates, Eloy, AZ
-2006: 5th place - 4-way FS, Collegiates, Lake Wales, FL
-Tunnel time: approximately 65 hours

Laura Wagner:
-Organizes at Skydive Orange
-Has organized at Skydive Arizona
-Was on the 2010 womens vertical world record
-35 hours of tunnel time

The Caribou is scheduled to arrive first thing Friday morning! Friday looks jumpable and Sunday looks great so we'll get some good jumps from her. Yeah the party might start early Saturday but the weather forecasters have been wrong before so we'll just have to see what we get :)

I just want to say that this was probably one of the most badass boogies i've ever attended....
and the jumping weather was far from ideal....

Thanks to delmarva for putting on one great boogie! It took me till now to recover from it!

Great organizers, great parties and great people. Can't wait till the next one!
