Feather 0 #6 February 28, 2006 QuoteIn Davis they'll usually fly it with 5 or 6. IS that the minimum for the plane to take off (cost related to the owner)
BRYANGOESBOOM 0 #7 February 28, 2006 i did some searching and it looks like this plane kicks ass it will fly with 5 and max capacity is 17 i also read that @ max capacity its really cramped Not only will you look better, feel better, and fuck better; you'll have significantly increased your life expectancy. --Douva
Adrenalinejunky 0 #8 February 28, 2006 For us in Taft, he would fly with as few as 8. But now that he owns the DZ and the plane, that might change. Maybe he will fly with less, I don't know. The PAC is a lot of fun, and you guys will really enjoy it. And you are right, with 17 people, it is really tight. With the co-pilot seat facing forward, we were only maxing out with 15. Still really tight!! Enjoy the plane, it is a blast.
BRYANGOESBOOM 0 #9 February 28, 2006 Thanks for the info is it as fast as i heard it was???? Not only will you look better, feel better, and fuck better; you'll have significantly increased your life expectancy. --Douva
Adrenalinejunky 0 #10 February 28, 2006 It will get you up to altitude before you know it. Although with a tandem student strapped to me, or if it is at full capacity, it never seemed fast enough. But that is the case with any plane. The sound system rocks, and that makes the flight a lot more enjoyable too.
BRYANGOESBOOM 0 #11 February 28, 2006 Great thanks again Now if we could only find out if he is flying this weekend Not only will you look better, feel better, and fuck better; you'll have significantly increased your life expectancy. --Douva
bob.dino 0 #12 March 1, 2006 We can fit 17 in ours with the copilot seat in & facing forward. It's cramped, but doable, as long as there are no tandems or wingsuits on the load. Those seem to reduce capacity to 16.
weavermc 0 #13 March 1, 2006 Mark fully plans on flying this weekend (3-5 March). We met him last sunday when he flew in and said he's ready to get going, although I'm not sure if he's doing student work this weekend or not. Feel free to call the DZ (254)947-3483 (www.skydivetemple.net) I'll be there, beer in hand!!! Weaves

jguy904 0 #15 March 1, 2006 max capacity is very cramped and it is very loud. i just jumped one in australia--however, it has a big door and gets the job done with a fair climb rate-- MUFF #3384, DIRTY SANCHEZ #28(Chief Recruiting Officer), FALLING GATOR #7801-A, POPS #10957, FLYING HELLFISH #847, HISPAS #79, SRA #9229, Surfador Rodrigues
