What time of year Florida

What time of the year is jumping most pleasant and most likely to get loads of jumpable days?

Also what DZ is best to turn up at on your own and get to jump with lots a cool people? And also to get some freefly coaching?

I thinking of making a trip this year but I am not sure what time is good to come over

Thanksgiving or Christmas has the real rush. My pick for friendliest DZ (IE you don't have to bring your own friends) is Z Hills. They have EXCELLENT coaching available and lots of friendly people. Just stay away from Bill (Happythoughts) if he hasn't had his latest series of shots.

Lake Wales is also a nice DZ. Small DZ atmosphere with friendly people.

Have to put in my plug for my home DZ, Palatka. Great atmosphere, great fun people always looking for more fun jumpers. Caravan and a c-182 for hop-n-pops.

I have to agree with bigearn on this one! Palatka is a great DZ with some good people.

Z-hills is a good one too, but I only jumped there once. The people are friendly, they are open during the week, and they have a great set up with a bar on site!!

Actually, after I've had a series of shots, I get fairly social.

Christmas boogie is the best, plenty of out of town jumpers.

I would recommend when it is cool. A 70 degree day that is cool and clear will make for a great day of jumping.

March to April is when Florida is the nicest. DZ-wize, anything around Orlando. If you have transportation and a little time you could hit them all.
