steve1 5 #28 February 14, 2003 I emailed www.icarus.co.za to check into ordering a new jump suit. Apparently Hornet canopies are still offered but for twice the price they were a year ago. They are now about a $1,000. I bought mine a year ago for less than $500. The freight I was quoted yesterday was like $180. I wonder if this is a mistake. The air freight on my Hornet a year ago to the states was only $40. Ah, don't you yurn for the olden days (like last year) when you could get cheap gear. Jessica 0 #30 February 14, 2003 I wonder what this will do to the prices of used Hornets, Tempos and Heatwaves. I bought my Horney canopy used with 90 jumps for $700, which is about what I was looking at paying for a custom one direct from South Africa. I hate all you lucky bastids who got one for $500. flyingferret 0 #31 February 14, 2003 Well my new custom 170 cost me $945. Both distributors I spoke with today seemed to think that price would jump significantly while the canopies would stay almost the same.-- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.
