How much did you spend on skydiving last year?

Recommended Posts

Last year nothing...but this year already over 6000 with AFF, ordering my rig and starting to buy things like my altimeter. I still need to get a main to go in the rig.:P

How much did I spend?

Not nearly enough.

Although my wife says I waste money skydiving, I don't think I've never wasted a cent on jumping since I started 23 years ago.;)

I'll try to add mine about up..

Jump course $130
23 jumps since $1100
Protec helmet $35
Jump suit $50
Used gear $1200
Inspect & repack ~$100
Travel $200
Gifts to wife* $200
Total $3015

*(time spent at dz instead of w/ her)

More than I should have spent, but not enough.

Got to put it in perspective some folks spend $15-20K/ year on drugs and they don't have a choice. :(

Read about a lady who lost $975,000 gambling over a few years. Most of the money wasn't hers. After rehab first stop on the way home the casino Another $10k in the hole.:S

If you got it, can borrow it, work for it, may as well spend it doing something "constructive" rather than destructive.

R.I.P.

This should be a choice on the poll! It's what my answer is as well.

Unfortunately, I get hit with the numbers come every April 15. :S
