Ripcord Skydivers Australia

It's in a great location, probably does more tandems and students than fun-jumpers though. I don't think they have a high retention rate on students completing either AFF or static line (yes, they do still do static line!). I think they fly a 206 and a 182. It's been a few years since I jumped there.

I know John quite well though I haven't been to his DZ. I do think it is basically a student operation.
I used to jump with him quite regularly back in the eighties and last ssaw him 3 yrs ago at the Aussie nationals and I hold him in high regard.
But if your looking to visit a top DZ with lots of fun jumps and every thing else I would recomend Toogoolawah which is also near Brisbane and has hosted a couple of world meets as well as the Aussie Nationals and the Equanox Boogies.
Top people involved with both operations so you need to target what your after
