Tanvan 0 #1 September 28, 2006 So i've heard some people talking about working on their freefly, and i've seen freefly gear for sale. I guess my question is: what the hell is freefly?-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Two Fingers, , This Is Skydiving.
AggieDave 6 #2 September 28, 2006 You're learning how to fly in skydiving's basic body position, belly to earth. There's another type of flying that is headdown, head up (sitfly) and any number of other orientations besides belly to earth. Its just another thing that people enjoy doing in skydiving. Go to Skydivingmovies.com and look at the FF (freefly) video. Check out the RW videos as well. Hell, check them all out, that'll kill off the rest of the afternoon for you.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." kenneth21441 0 #4 September 28, 2006 Freeflying is fun as hell as long as you know that you are falling faster then before. Just a point that belly flying you travele between 90 to 120 MPH.. Depending on weight etc... Free flying in a stand up you are going over 150 to 200 MPH.... Its fun and fast.Kenneth Potter FAA Senior Parachute Rigger Tactical Delivery Instructor (Jeddah, KSA) FFL Gunsmith
