  1. agreed, bad weather days are great for learning. At my DZ we'll sit around and pack, watch skydiving videos or just swap stories. Anything to learn something while you're doing nothing. -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Two Fingers, , This Is Skydiving.
  2. Sad day, Ii'm in arkansas. We jump year round, it's cold as shit sometimes but not bad enough to keep me on the ground. I'll tell you one things though, i need some gloves ASAP!! 'warm' blue skies -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Two Fingers, , This Is Skydiving.
  3. So i've heard some people talking about working on their freefly, and i've seen freefly gear for sale. I guess my question is: what the hell is freefly? -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Two Fingers, , This Is Skydiving.
  4. stop jumping during the winter!? what is that malarky/shenanigans? the air is lighter =even better. though i'm not sure how cold it gets there -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Two Fingers, , This Is Skydiving.
  5. So i've got 3 more SL jumps then i'm on to my first H/P and i've been kinda worried about it also thinking i was going to be doing it at 3500ft (the alt i've been jumping so far). Any static liners out there, what altitude was your first hop 'n pop? -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Two Fingers, , This Is Skydiving.
  6. cool, thanks -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Two Fingers, , This Is Skydiving.
  7. I've only jumped twice and i really need to work on my arch but with the canopy over my head I feel pretty brave. I was wondering what caution i should take when trying faster turns longer flairs etc. What are some opinions on what i should be prepared for and what i should stay away from? -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Two Fingers, , This Is Skydiving.
  8. so what i'm experiencing is just normal for beginners? -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Two Fingers, , This Is Skydiving.
  9. yea, i bet my instructor would love it if i suggested hopping out at 1500.....or not but thanks anyway -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Two Fingers, , This Is Skydiving.
  10. thanks, so i'm not completly retarded for having a hard time focusing my first few jumps. -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Two Fingers, , This Is Skydiving.
  11. Hey, I just started a staic line course to get my A license yesterday. I jumped twice which was awesome, but i can never remember to count when i exit the plane. Like all the way up i'm running through my head what i need to do and it seems like as soon as i clime out my brain goes to crap. Any tips and keeping my mind straight, or does it just come with experience? How can i remember to count? -_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_ Two Fingers, , This Is Skydiving.
