… this Friday, Sept 19th and then again sometime on Saturday, Sept 20th, they’re going to air a show on “Skydiving”.


Supposedly most of the filming was done at Skydive Pepperell using N121PM (Cal City Otter) and N29173 (Cal City C206).


For those of you who got em… set your DVRs!

206 woulda been N3927G actually... they look about the same but 27G has the big engine that lets it climb as fast as the otter.

The best part about it (assuming they use the footage) will be a shot of the host annoucing "Welcome to Flock University!" The particular shot was taken while in mid-flight, while the host was in the Otter and the 206 was filming (in other words, the shot is being taken with the host almost in the door of the Otter, with a big old zoom lens).

It was followed by some pretty solid flocking.

I'm looking forward to it - with any luck the planes will not be the most interesting bit.
