Skydiving Injuries

Recommended Posts

I must be a softie but since I started jumping, I've had muscle aches and pains.
Both my heels feel a bit tender from the not so soft landings and the insides of my thighs are a bit sore.. :)My body is taking a beating but the smile keeps growing!

Nothing serious thankfully!

Will I get used to this eventually?

PLF.

It will save your body and maybe save you from serious injury some day.

Jeeeze.... It's only falling, not athletics. My advice, apply (& distribute) several 330m/l internal lubrication (green or brown bottles, it doesn't matter) and go again next weekend.

You can count on that! Liberal application indeed! ;)

As far as the thighs hurting, it's just on student gear. Once you get your own gear with padded legstraps it's much more comfortable. I used to get bruises on the insides of my legs from the student gear.

Also cross your legs under canopy, it makes it much more comfortable and makes the harness more like a seat...just remember to uncross them and prepare to PLF before you land.
