chris03852 0 #1 September 11, 2009 After 3 failed attempts at my level 3 AFF my instructor strongly recommended some time in a wind tunnel. I ended up going with some people from my drop zone (only knew the instructor who sets up the time) the other night. It was the best 10 minute investment i could of made. My main issue with free falling is relaxing but doing the tunnel I could feel the difference when I was tense and relax. Really hoping I can take that when I go back next week to try again at my level 3. Just wish there was a way I could remember to relax without being told to. Ketia0 0 #2 September 11, 2009 NO lie, one of the best things my instructors told me to do was this... Stop thinking about it, just breath and SMILE! i would get so nervous about the jump and my body would be like a board. potatoe chipping and all. Next time you go up, just remember.. dont think about how your going to do it. All the DD you do before the jump is for that. In the air, just relax, smile, and tell your body what to do. Hope that helps"In this game you can't predict the future. You just have to play the odds. "-JohnMitchell

I know some people thet forgot to pull after they came from the tunnel. P.S. And for me it was much more easy to fly in the air once I learned stuff in the tunnel.dudeist skydiver #
