iranianjumper 2 #1 Posted January 5, 2019 is a USPA SL/IAD instructor qualified person to confirm issuing A license for a student ?
20kN 93 #2 January 6, 2019 I believe so, but dont quote me on it. I think anyone with an instructional rating above coach is authorized to conduct an A license check dive. The IRM would be the place to look or email the USPA.

skypilotA1 67 #4 January 6, 2019 The answer to your question is YES. A S/L or IAD instructor is able to "sign off" or authorize a student "A" license. Any instructor may sign a students "A" proficiency card. Paul Gholson S&TA, Coach Examiner

skypilotA1 67 #6 January 7, 2019 Again, yes. If the student is a USPA member. Any USPA Instructor is able to "sign off" or verify any/all items of a USPA student "A" Proficiency card at any foreign DZ, non USPA DZ, or Farmer John's field. The instructor is verifying the student performance, the airspace or location doesn't matter. Hope that helps.
