More Green failure, corruption, and tax payer waste.

That money could have been used for the F35 program. I hear they are short a couple of billion to develop and aircraft that will be significantly more expensive to maintain than the aircraft it replaces.

Well played. ;)

Let's see, he made a comment utilizing sarcasm (a form of humour) that addressed wasted tax dollars and alluded to potential corruption in US military budgeting and spending.

Two out of three is good enough for me.

Or was the topic, in your opinion, exclusive to criticizing the Green Energy movement?

I'm so confused.

Hoax, movement, policy... whatever.

With the absolute myriad of problems your nation is facing, THIS is the one you feel is most critical and worthy of hanging your hats on?

Fair enough. Your bat, your ball. Froth away...

Probably not put well on my part.

I have no problem with green energy.

I do have a problem with the lie being used to push it politically.

>Or we could just keep the A-10, a better CAS platform anyway.

Yep. Too bad conservatives are in charge.

It's actually been congress that has kept the A-10 alive while the Air Force has been trying to get rid of it. In my opinion, one of the best things congress has accomplished.

Of course while you continue to pour billions into the F35 program.

But indeed, let's talk about the waste in trying to stimulate the growth in green energy. That's much more important and there is much more money at stake!!!

>Obama, the military's CIC, is a conservative?

No. The people keeping the F-35 alive are conservatives. Namely:

Rep. Ted Poe (R-TX)
Rep. Lynn Westmoreland (R-GA)
Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA)
Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-GA)
Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ)

They are the leading members of the "Joint Strike Fighter caucus" and are its most ardent supporters. They are also the strongest advocates of cutting spending on everyone else's programs, of course.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_in_Germany

Germany one example, CO2 emissions down 10%. % of energy from renewables = 11%

Yep, I guess that is a 'hoax' alright.

Hoax #2
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Energy_in_the_United_States

CO2 emissions down 7%, renewable energy up as well, as well as jobs in renewable energy and coal production down by less that renewable energy is up.

I guess you must be against the creation of jobs and economic growth or something like that? Oh, of course, I was making the silly assumption that you could be rational for a moment

good to know that the layoff of a few hundred employees is a sign that the business model is a failure and corrupt.

Coal is laying off thousands.....does that count in your analysis?

Oh of course not, how silly of me to think with any logic.....

BOTH are happening because of government intervention

"a recent report revealed that SolarCity was allowed to reduce the number of jobs it expects to create from 1,400 to just 500."

Per your recent comment on another thread, you therefore believe that solar is getting more efficient overall, and the industry will be more successful. (Fewer people = lower costs.)
