headoverheels 291 #1 November 25, 2015 Cogent ruling on the Wisconsin law: http://www.vox.com/2015/11/25/9801108/anti-abortion-scott-walker-defeat Law absolutely unjustified on any count. I hope that the SCOTUS ruling on the similar Texas law goes the same way.
wolfriverjoe 1,342 #2 November 25, 2015 Unless they want to make doctors get admitting privileges for any procedure that's as invasive or at risk for complications as an abortion (and they have zero willingness to do that), then it's a clear attempt at restricting abortion. And nothing else. Giving doctors 3 days to get those privileges (which normally takes a few months if they don't already have them), is also suspect. Stumpy 256 #3 November 25, 2015 Agree. Unfortunately I suspect it will only be a few months before they come up with some equally bullshit reason to jam the whole thing up again and spend lots more public money on lawyers.Never try to eat more than you can lift
