Leave Florida's Constitution Alone

Recommended Posts

Sounds and feels good but is it really? At least one news source did some homework instead of reprinting proponent's propaganda for them.

Thanks again to whoever here educated me on how to do a live link.

Please VOTE NO on Amendment 1 if you live in Florida - if not at least Vote.

Constitutions create, define, and restrict governments. They are not the place to stash laws, taxes, pet projects or anything else the weasels want to sneak through.

That train has already left the station in Florida (and other states, probably). Floridians have long been adding obscure amendments to their constitution. For example pregnant pigs have protections dictated by the Florida constitution.

and Ohio's has one specific company designated to run the casinos... but those specific examples of stupidity don't excuse adding more.

The majority percentage to pass this amendment 1 in Florida I believe is 2/3 or 60% not perfectly sure which.

Word has it that a recent poll reported 90% support it. Many many not so well informed folks in Fla but the campaign was very slick and smooth. The supporters don't feel a thing penetrating them YET.
