Shotgun 1 #1 May 1, 2012 Came across this interview from two years ago: http://forum-network.org/lecture/mitt-romney-case-american-greatness And found it much more informative than all the campaign stuff going around recently. For anyone who is conservative, neutral, and/or able to put partisanship aside, I think it's a good watch.

Andrewwhyte 1 #3 May 1, 2012 As an atheist I particularly liked his take on religion in America. I wish more evangelical protestants had similar views.

The Romney that existed before the start of the campaign last year is acceptable to a lot of left leaning or non believing folks. Now it's just as question of how much of his posturing since then is real.

Unfortunately, I don't think that most politicians would publicly be very open to atheism.

I'm still watching the video - but I'm not ashamed to say that Romney had a very good likelihood of getting my vote PRIOR to the primaries. Unfortunately, his pandering to the right base (however necessary) has put me off of him as a candidate. Personally, I liked him as Governor of MA - my opinion was that he did a good job and was relatively non-partisan. Pity - he used to be a good candidate.
