Religious Freedom - but only for Christians

Recommended Posts

Seems that the Texas Association of Private and PAROCHIAL schools had to be sued before they would move a basketball game time to accommodate a Jewish school's religious needs.

What hypocrites these Christians are.

Same bullshit, different issue.

Nothing positive for society has ever come out of conservative philosopy. If conservative philosophy had been applied, women would not be able to vote, segregation of public facilites by race would still be in effect, and your religion or skin color could be used to prevent you from buying property in certain areas. Fortunately the evil "liberal" philosophy carried the day and these wonderful policies were removed from the law.

I'm sure the Catholic Bishops regret that they no longer have the power to order this.

Pity they don't make as much fuss about pedophilia in their own ranks as they do about birth control.

Interesting that all of TAPPS Board of Director Members appear to be Christian.

And the their constitution implies, depending on your definition of church and parish a Christian bias.

"a. Private schools are defined as those schools that are established, conducted and primarily supported by a non-government agency -or- primarily supported by student tuition.
b. Parochial schools are defined as those schools that are controlled by, supported by, or within the jurisdiction of a church parish."
