airdvr 200 #1 November 12, 2010 I found this interview interesting. John Stewart is far more the centrist than I would have imagined. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/vp/40140781#40141431Please don't dent the planet. wmw999 2,153 #2 November 12, 2010 Most people I talk to are more centrist one-on-one than on the net or in a group; I'll bet that's true across the board. From an interview I saw with him, he's extremely intelligent and well-read, using a large variety of sources. Wendy P.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. idrankwhat 0 #3 November 12, 2010 I don't usually watch her show so I missed it. Thank's for pointing it out. It's nice to see a real interview instead of talking point pugilism for a change. Jon's a real asset to today's dialog.
rehmwa 2 #4 November 12, 2010 He's very practical. He recognizes that both parties are guilty of just about everything and he makes jokes ($$$) that feeds on all of them. One of the few entertainers that isn't grossly and nastily biased either way. I think he aligns with more real people than any other. and Maddow really doesn't get it at all "I don't think there's an equivalent....." and look at their faces....they could be siblings ... ianmdrennan 2 #5 November 12, 2010 John Stewart is 'da man' Smart, moderate (imo), and well spoken. I love when he pimp slaps EITHER party or their talking heads Performance Designs Factory Team
lawrocket 3 #6 November 12, 2010 Stewart IS a guy who seems more centrist. However, he is also one of those guys that points out what everybody is doing wrong. He doesn't care where they are - his machine gun points 360. It's strange how many people - even on this very forum - would discuss teapartiers as those who offer no solutions but rather just complain about how people do things wrong. These are often the same people who support Stewart and his "return to sanity" moments. Oh, yeah - Stewart's 360 machine gun comes from their side. Olbermann doesn't get it. O'Reilly doesn't get it. Hannity doesn't get it. Maddow and Matthews don't get it. All have in common that they hate the other side for doing x, y and z and love their side for doing x, y and z. It takes a guy like John "you're just as much of a dick in person as you are on your show" Stewart to get notice. A guy who sees that dirty tactics are dirty tactics no matter who is doing it. My wife is hotter than your wife.
