Israel used 'incredible violence' against Gaza aid flotilla

There were no attacks on Israel before these territories were stolen.

This is factually wrong.
read on the riots during the 20's and 30's and the terrorist attacks in the 50's.
if you don't know what you're talking about, you might want to stay quiet.

you're confusing the middle east with europe (it was hitler who tried to rid the world of jews not the palestinians).

Go ask Iran what they think.

Quote

Although Iran and Israel are bitter enemies, few know that Iran is home to the largest number of Jews anywhere in the Middle East outside Israel.

About 25,000 Jews live in Iran and most are determined to remain no matter what the pressures - as proud of their Iranian culture as of their Jewish roots.

It is dawn in the Yusufabad synagogue in Tehran and Iranian Jews bring out the Torah and read the ancient text before making their way to work.

It is not a sight you would expect in a revolutionary Islamic state, but there are synagogues dotted all over Iran where Jews discreetly practise their religion.

"Because of our long history here we are tolerated," says Jewish community leader Unees Hammami, who organised the prayers.

He says the father of Iran's revolution, Imam Khomeini, recognised Jews as a religious minority that should be protected.

As a result Jews have one representative in the Iranian parliament.

Iran directly relates to the topic of this thread ("...Gaza aid flotilla"). They're the reason for the blockade in the first place. (IMO)

this thread is about israeli violence and the UN report that condemns it :)

Why don't you make a list of what countries that hate jews would be allowed to be mentioned in your thread then.:S

Who do you think supports the Palestinians?

you seem to be confused between a religion and a nationality. the thread title doesn't mention 'jews' it says 'israel'.

I think turtle was talking about the "murder" part. Maybe not.

Religions
Jews 76%
Muslims 16%
Others (mostly those not classified
as affiliated with religion) 4%
Arab Christians 2.5%
Druze 1.5%

Looks like that had a 3 out of 4 cahce of being jewish.

But yes, saying that they commited "Murder" is simply untrue.

At the very most they were killed in self defense.

What?
you said there were no attacks before "these territories were stolen".
even if one agrees with your definition of "stolen", there were attacks on Jews before Israel was founded and many attacks by terrorists crossing the border with Gaza and Jordan prior to 67 when "these territories were stolen" (you can google fedayeen).
That is, of course, only valid if you don't consider Israel's existence as "stealing land". in that case, my don't really have anything to talk about...

YES.. we get it....as a BRIT.... you are STILL all BUTT HURTabout being shown the door after getting the get the FUCK out of ISRAEL card from Menachem.:S

i wasn't even alive at the time and certainly don't take nationalism as seriously as you do :)
meanwhile who was bombing who to get their shiny new state?

Well...talking didn't get it. (you are talking about Ireland, aren't you? ...if not, just plug in just about any other new country at any other time in history).

time to plug palestine in :)

I have a great idea.. Why not have all the A Rab countries give all the land they stole from the hundreds of thousands of Jews across the A Rab world to all those poor homeless Palestinians ( who COULD have stayed and become citizens of Israel as this many thousands of Arabs) who ran off to join the A Rab cause of fighting and trying to exterminate the Jews in Israel.

It was the A Rabs who attacked Israel within hours of the establishment of Israel. All those lands are worth far more and is laregerr in land area than what the Israeli's ended up with. Instead the A Rabs have been all butt hurt to have all those non-Muslim people amoung them and have not seen fit to help their A Rab brothers and sisters... oh well.

Maybe someday they will be able to return to the era when there was some enlightenment in Islamic lands and aceptance of christians and jews, in other words the people of The Book as denoted in the Queran.

"Nine activists on a Turkish ship were killed as they attempted to breach the Israeli naval blockade of Gaza"

Well, no shit. Something different expected?
My reality and yours are quite different.

abosolutely not - They even spoke of being martyred . . . Seems pretty straight forward.

i think you're confusing arabs (who haven't tried to exterminate the jews) with europeans (who did try to exterminate the jews). why can't israel have a homeland in the US - it's a big country and you're a very generous people i've heard :)
