Florida Governor Crist to Run for Senate as an Independent, Leaves Republican Party

In a three way race for the senate seat, it makes political sense for Gov. Crist to do this, but who he will caucus with in the Senate should he get elected. I also think he'll find that as a junior Senator, and without party support, he won't get much done for Florida.

Just last month I watched Charlie on TV and he said he wouldn't flip to the Independent Party.

So he finally made the decision. Marco Rubio keeps jumping ahead in the local polls. He shouldn't have buddied up to BHO.
