michael moore hates america

Recommended Posts

I watched this film last night called "Michael Moore Hates America". Its by a guy names Michael Wilson. In this movie Michael W. attempts to interview Moore in the same way Moore attempted to interview GM CEO Roger Smith. In the process Wilson interviews people Moore used in his mvies such as Bolwing for Columbine and F 911. These people tell the stories of what really went down during the filiming and how Moore twists and edits what he captures.

This movie is fantastic!

I don't think Michael Moore hates America. I think he loves this country and the opportunities it provides for him to make a fortune.

I dont think he does either. I can't think of more that a handfull of countries that would let him get away with his movies. I think he and I love America for the same reason.....FREEDOM to do almost anything you want.

Might be worth checking out. Seeing Moore get a dose of his own medicine could be entertaining.

It actually is very entertaining. Moore gets called out on National TV.

I think I'd enjoy this. Moore doesn't hate America, he hates capitalism.

Right - like Bill Gates.

Bill Gates hates capitalism?

Right, Like Michael Moore does.

At least Gates is honest about his views.

Does Moore pretend he has no money, then?

Come on! Everybody loves having more money. Just that some have lines drawn on what they are willing to do to get more of it. Some are willing to work harder, some aren't. Some will commit to the time, some won't.

More important than level of income is means of livelihood and what a person is willing to do to get there. Mr. Moore chose yellow journalism.

Spin it how you want; it is what it is.

BTW, I saw that film, or something that is nearly identical. It does seem to expose him as an extremely manipulative operator.

Apparently you haven't seen "Sicko". A movie which promotes socialized medicine. I haven't found anything in Gates history to suggest he's anything less than an honest Capitalist.

and at least Bill Gates is doing something positive with some of his money.
if the reports are anywhere near accurate, he may actually be making a difference in some countries.

Lots of rich folks make charity "foundations" for one purpose -- to shelter their money from taxes.

Bill Gates is no more generous than any other ultra-rich man. But he does have a better PR machine working for him than others in his income bracket.

Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

Giving away 1/2 of your assets is a tax shelter?

You might want to do a little research before sounding off.

The Gates and the Buffetts set a standard for philanthropy that hasn't been seen in generations.

Agreed - i don't like some of the things Gates does to make his money - anticompetitiveness and so on, but you can't deny he gives a lot of it away.

I don't think he will be running short any time soon though ;)

Moore is a capitalist. He lives a capitalist lifestyle. There's no doubt about that, regardless of the subject of his movies.

It amazes me that all you righties have apparently watched his movies (you know SO much about them) and contributed in some small way to his fortune. I haven't.
